Which padel app should I use?
Choose by the job you need done. Each of these apps is good at one or two things.
- Book a court: Playtomic, MATCHi or your own club's system. Which one works depends on which your club uses.
- Find partners or a fourth: Playtomic ties a match to a court at a club. Flobit lets you post an open match for any venue and approve who joins.
- Run an Americano or Mexicano night: PadelMix, Banana Padel, Padel Master and Padel40 are built for it. Flobit runs Mexicano as a full tournament, and the free Americano generator builds the schedule for a night.
- Keep score: Padel Watch, Padel40, Golden Point Live and Flobit all work with Apple Watch.
- Track your level: Playtomic and Flobit both rate players from results, on different scales.
Prices below come from each store listing on 11 October 2026 and differ by country. Details change, so check the listing before you pay.
Which padel app is best for court bookings?
Playtomic and MATCHi are two booking apps that work with many clubs, and the better choice is whichever your club uses.
Playtomic's App Store listing describes a network of clubs with "over 16,000 courts worldwide", where you can cover the court fees yourself or split them with other players. Its terms say a service fee, which varies by country, is charged when a booking, public match or tournament entry is confirmed; Premium removes it, and a club may choose to cover it. The Flobit vs Playtomic comparison covers the fee in detail.
MATCHi describes itself as "a complete booking system for racket sports venues". Its app lets you find venues, book courts, explore memberships and activities, invite friends and split payments, and it asks you to tell your club manager if your venue isn't on it.
Many clubs also have their own booking system or app. Flobit doesn't book courts or take payments for them: its venue map shows courts, surfaces, reviews and directions, and you reserve with the club or a booking app.
Which padel app helps you find partners or a fourth?
Playtomic and Flobit both do it, in different ways, and Golden Point Live adds a nearby-match search.
Playtomic. You create a private match with friends, make it public to find new partners, or search for active matches nearby and join one. A match is tied to a court at a club, and its level system, which runs from 0 to 7, helps you see who you are playing.
Flobit. A host posts an open match with the sport, rules, time, and a city or venue, chooses who can join (anyone, men, women or mixed) and can set a level range. Players within 50 km by default (5 to 100) ask to join, and the host approves. A Quick Match code, QR code or link fills a game from your own group chat, and guests don't need an account. There is no automatic matching and no level filter when browsing, and the host's range is shown on the listing as guidance while the host approves each request. Levels run from 1.0 to 7.0 in LTA padel wording; see the padel levels guide.
Golden Point Live. Its listing describes "Find a Match": open listings and players within 50 km, sorted by distance.
Whichever you use, how fast a match fills depends on how many players near you use that app. In Baku, local apps such as Book & Play, Challengers, LinkFit and RankMate also list padel players.
Which app runs a padel Americano or Mexicano?
An Americano rotates partners every round and scores each player individually. A Mexicano re-pairs players by the standings after each round. Several apps are built just for this.
- PadelMix creates Americano and Mexicano tournaments with individual players or fixed teams, any number of courts and points per round, compensation for players who sit out, and a web link to share live progress.
- Banana Padel runs Americano, Mexicano and King of the Court (a format Flobit doesn't run), with a live scoreboard, a TV mode, QR codes for players and Elo ratings.
- Padel Master - Americano generates Americano, Mexicano and team tournaments, saves and resumes them and works offline. Its listing says scorekeeping is an upcoming feature.
- Padel40 is a scorer with built-in tournaments: Americano for 4 to 24 players across up to 6 courts, and Mexicano with standings-based pairings.
- Playtomic Manager, the tool Playtomic offers clubs, now lists Americano and Mexicano tournaments with automatic pairing for the clubs that run them, and King of the Court, which Flobit doesn't run.
Flobit runs Mexicano, not Americano, as a tournament inside a community. You set the courts and rounds (or a club-night preset), play first to N or to a combined N, rank by margin or by points, plan rounds ahead or draw them from the table, and choose random, balanced or never-repeated partners. The organizer can add walk-up guests before the draw, and sit-outs rotate. Americano isn't an in-app format on Flobit, and nor is King of the Court, so use the free generator for Americano.
A dedicated app is lighter if all you want is a schedule. Flobit adds referees, trophies, a public page and ELO.
What is the best padel score app?
Four apps list Apple Watch scoring for padel, and the difference is what comes with the scoreboard.
- Padel Watch is built for the wrist: one tap per point, golden point, advantage or the Star Point, a serve indicator, undo and a workout mode. Scoring is free, and advanced statistics need a subscription.
- Padel40 follows the 2026 FIP rules, including the Star Point, with two large tap zones on the Watch, Live Activities and offline use. It is free to download, with weekly and yearly subscriptions.
- Golden Point Live covers tennis and padel with configurable rules, Apple Watch and Live Activities, for a one-off price on the US App Store.
- Flobit scores padel point by point with golden point as the default, an advantage option, a tiebreak and a super tiebreak, plus undo. It adds spoken score calls in five languages, Apple Watch scoring that works offline, a Live Activity, a courtside mode and a public live page at flobit.app/live that friends can follow. Confirmed results then feed your ELO. Star Point isn't one of its options.
If you only want a scorer for a casual match, a dedicated app can be simpler. If you want the result to count towards a rating, and friends to follow along, use Flobit. The padel scoring guide explains golden point and the Star Point.
Can I use more than one padel app?
Yes, and the jobs rarely overlap. The apps keep separate accounts and separate ratings.
A routine that works:
- Book the court on Playtomic, MATCHi or with your club.
- Fill the spots. Post an open match on Flobit for that venue and time, or put a Quick Match code in your group chat.
- Keep score on Flobit or a watch scorer.
- Run the social night as a Mexicano on Flobit, or an Americano from a generator or a dedicated app.
Stop at the point where more apps mean more notifications than games.
