FLOBIT.

How does Flobit compare with other sports apps?

In short

We compare Flobit with the apps players ask about, on facts we can check and date: what each app does, what it costs and who it suits. Where another app does something Flobit doesn't, such as court booking, we say so plainly. Every comparison cites its sources and shows when they were last checked.

How do we compare apps?

We read each app's own website, help pages and App Store or Play Store listing, cite them and date every check. A claim we can't find on those pages stays out. We don't quote star ratings or download counts, because they change daily, and we name prices with the store and date they were read, because they differ by country.

Where another app does something better, we say so. Flobit doesn't book courts and takes no payments for courts, entry fees or prizes, and the comparisons say who does. If something has changed since we checked, tell us and we will correct it.

What kinds of sports apps are there?

Most sports apps do one of four jobs, and mixing them up is why comparisons confuse people.

  • Booking apps reserve the court or pitch. Playtomic and MATCHi work with clubs, and in Baku Book & Play, Challengers, LinkFit and Meydança take bookings at their partner venues.
  • Partner finders match you with people to play: TennisPAL and PlayYourCourt for tennis, Kort, and the open-game lists inside booking apps.
  • Team and club managers run availability, payments and messages for a group. Spond and TeamSnap are two examples.
  • Tournament and bracket tools make the draw and keep results: Challonge, Tournify and Global Tennis Network.

Some apps cover two or three of these. Few cover all four well, so you may want more than one.

Frequently asked questions

How often are the comparisons checked?

Each comparison shows the day its facts were last checked, and every claim links to the page it comes from. Apps change prices and features often, so a page can be out of date between checks. If you spot a difference, tell us on the support page and we will correct it.

Can I use Flobit with a court-booking app?

Yes. Flobit doesn't book courts, so reserve with your club or a booking app as usual and use Flobit to find players, keep score and run the event. The apps keep separate accounts and separate ratings, so nothing conflicts. Most comparisons here include a short routine for using both.

Which app should I use to book a court?

Use the booking app your club or area uses. Playtomic and MATCHi work with clubs in many places, and in Baku Book & Play, Challengers, LinkFit and Meydança take bookings at partner venues. Flobit doesn't book courts, but its venue map shows courts, surfaces and directions.

Is Flobit free compared with other sports apps?

Flobit is free, with no ads and no subscription, and it takes no payments for courts, entry fees or prizes. Its App Store listing shows optional supporter tips, which unlock no features. Other apps vary: some are free to download with fees or paid tiers on top, and some charge the club. Each comparison lists the price as read from the app's own pages on the date shown.

Why does Flobit compare itself with other apps?

Players ask which app to use, and a fair, sourced answer helps them choose, even when the answer is another app. Each comparison says where the other app is the better choice, such as court booking, and where Flobit fits, such as live scores and free tournaments.
