How do I find women's padel sessions, leagues and tournaments?
In short
Search your city with «بادل نسائي» or "padel ladies only", ask clubs about their own women's sessions, and look at federation events that include women's categories. Or start a game yourself. In Flobit, set an open match's who-can-join to women, or create a tournament in the Women category. An Americano or Mexicano night works well for groups with a range of levels.
Is there demand for women's padel in the Gulf?
Yes, and people look for it by city. On 2 November 2026, Google's Arabic suggestions for «بادل نسائي» in Saudi Arabia listed Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Dammam, Madinah, Khobar, Abha, Hail and Unaizah. Searching from Kuwait added «بادل نسائي الكويت», and from Oman «بادل نسائي مسقط». In English, "padel ladies dubai" completed with "ladies only dubai" and "ladies padel club dubai". Suggestions show that people search, not how many.
Reports describe real growth in play:
- Participation. Al Eqtisadiah, on 14 October 2026, quoted a global study that puts padel players at 53% men and 47% women.
- Saudi Arabia. Arab News reported in March 2022 on growing enthusiasm among Saudi women at Padel Rush in Boulevard Riyadh City. The Saudi Padel Federation now runs women's categories at its ranking events.
- Kuwait. In November 2025, Kuwait Times quoted a national-team player saying that more girls are joining, more clubs are supporting them and coaches are training female players seriously.
This page is about how to find and run games. It doesn't say which venues have women-only hours, because Flobit can't verify a venue's policy. Ask the club.
How do I find women-only padel sessions near me?
Use several routes at once, because women's sessions are often organized by clubs, coaches or groups, not in one place.
- Search with the words people use. Try «بادل نسائي» with your city, or «ملعب بادل نسائي». In the UAE and Qatar, English works better: "padel ladies only dubai" or "ladies padel club dubai".
- Ask the club. Call or message and ask whether it runs women's sessions, coaching or leagues, and on which days. Clubs set their own rules, and the answer can change.
- Join a city group. Search «قروب بادل» with your city name, or ask a friend to add you. The guide to finding padel players in Saudi Arabia covers groups and apps.
- Look at federation events. In Saudi Arabia, the ranking tournaments include women's categories. See padel tournaments in Saudi Arabia.
- Post your own game. In Flobit, an open match with who-can-join set to women means only players whose profile says they are women can ask to join. You approve each request.
Flobit does not book courts, so book the court with the club and then post the match for that slot.
Which women's padel tournaments and leagues exist?
Women's events exist at three levels: federation ranking events, developer or club tournaments, and your own group's league. A few dated examples from 2026:
| Event | Details |
|---|---|
| Saudi Padel Federation, 6th classification tournament, Padel District, Jeddah | 446 men, women and juniors; women play in categories A and B. Winners were listed for both. Reported as ended on 11 October 2026 |
| Saudi Padel Federation, other 2026 ranking tournaments | The same women's A and B categories ran at the 4th edition in Khobar (372 players) and the 5th in Jeddah (526 players) |
| Pearl Island Women's Padel Championship, Doha | The second edition, in May 2026, organized by United Development Company: 8 teams of residents of Pearl Island and Jiwan, over five days, ending with a final and a third-place match |
The Pearl Island event shows a useful format for a closed group: a small number of teams and a few days of matches, ending with a final and a third-place match. It was open to residents of the two islands only, so it is not a model for a public tournament.
For a league in your own group, the simplest design is a round robin in which each pair plays every other pair once. See tournament formats and the round-robin schedule guide for the maths, and the free round-robin generator for a schedule.
In Saudi Arabia, a private tournament open to other players needs the Saudi Padel Federation's licence first: its notice of 17 June 2026 says to apply at least 20 days ahead and get approval before you announce the event or open registration. See padel tournaments in Saudi Arabia. If you are not sure whether your group's event counts as a tournament, ask the federation.
How do I run a women's or mixed Americano or Mexicano night?
Pick the format by how mixed the group is, book the courts, set a points target and publish the rotation before the night. Both formats suit groups with a range of levels, because beginners and experienced players share courts and everyone plays.
- Americano. Partners rotate on a fixed schedule and everyone keeps an individual score. It is a free web tool at the Americano generator, not a format you create in the Flobit app. The Americano guide explains scoring.
- Mexicano. Rounds can be drawn from the standings, so matches stay close, or planned in advance. Flobit runs it as a tournament format, and its club-night preset plans the rounds ahead, with 3 courts, 12 rounds and scores adding up to 20. If the numbers don't divide by four, sit-outs rotate. See the Mexicano guide.
A full Americano rotation takes one round fewer than the number of players. These times use 10 to 16 minutes a round, from the Americano guide:
| Players | Courts | Rounds for a full rotation | Time (at least) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 | 2 | 7 | 1 h 10 to 1 h 52 |
| 12 | 3 | 11 | 1 h 50 to 2 h 56 |
| 16 | 4 | 15 | 2 h 30 to 4 h |
For a mixed night, be careful with the word. Neither the Americano tool nor Flobit's Mexicano forces a man and a woman into every pair. If every pair must have one woman and one man, use fixed pairs: run a league or a groups-plus-knockout tournament where players enter with a partner (pair invites), and choose the Mixed category. The Mixed category is a label, so check each pair before you approve it. If you only want men and women in the same event, rotating partners work, but say clearly in the invitation that partners are not gender-matched.
Keep a waitlist, set a finish time and write the points target in the invitation.
What can I set in Flobit for women's games?
Flobit has two settings that matter: who can join an open match, and the category of a tournament.
Open matches. The host chooses who can join: anyone, men, women or mixed. In a women-only game, only players whose profile has that gender set can ask to join, and a player who left it blank can't. You can also add a level range as guidance, write a 280-character note, and choose whether the listing is public or for your followers only. The host approves every request. See open matches.
Tournaments. The organizer chooses the category (Men, Women, Mixed or Open), an age range, a cap and a waitlist, and approves each entry. The category is set at creation and cannot be changed afterwards. Organizers can also invite pairs, add guests without an account and message entrants. See tournaments.
What the settings are not. They are filters based on the gender in a player's profile. Flobit does not verify identity, and it can't promise that a venue is women-only. Contact details are not shown in the listing note, and players swap them in chat after approval. Use the block and report tools if someone behaves badly. For a first meeting, pick a club you know.
The app is in English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani and Spanish, and not yet in Arabic. It is free to use with no ads. Flobit Plus is an optional subscription for advanced stats and a Plus badge.
How do I start a women's padel group that keeps going?
Fix a day and a time, and hold the same session every week. A fixed slot is easier to plan around than a one-off event. Here is a simple routine:
- Pick a club and a weekly slot, and book the court yourself.
- Create a community for the group. It is public or private, with chat, member standings and a tournament leaderboard.
- Post the session as an open match set to women, with the level range and pace in the note.
- Once a month, run an Americano or Mexicano night, so that players meet new partners.
- Welcome beginners: say plainly that the session suits all levels, and use the padel levels guide to describe them.
If your group already lives in WhatsApp, keep it there for chat and use Flobit for the schedule and the scores. Anyone who has the link can follow a match on its public live page, and the page shows the players' names, so share it only where you are comfortable with that. The roster message is formatted for pasting into WhatsApp or Telegram.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find women-only padel in Riyadh or Jeddah?
Search «بادل نسائي الرياض» or «بادل نسائي جدة», ask clubs whether they run women's sessions, and join a city group. The Saudi Padel Federation also runs women's categories A and B at its ranking tournaments. You can post a women-only open match in Flobit, but check each club's own rules.
Are there ladies-only padel sessions in Dubai?
People search for them: Google suggests "padel ladies only dubai" and "ladies padel club dubai". We don't list venue policies, so ask the club about its women's sessions, coaching and leagues. In Flobit you can post an open match set to women.
What categories do women play in at Saudi padel tournaments?
At the Saudi Padel Federation's sixth ranking tournament (Jeddah, October 2026), women played in categories A and B, in the same event as the men's categories A to D, Masters 40+ and the junior categories U18 and U14. Earlier 2026 editions, in Khobar and Jeddah, also had women's categories A and B. The letters are the federation's own classification.
Can I make a Flobit game women-only?
Yes. Set who can join to women when you post an open match. Only players whose profile says they are women can ask to join, and you approve each request. It is an app setting based on profile gender. Flobit does not verify identity or guarantee that a venue is women-only.
Can I run a women's tournament in Flobit?
Yes. Create a tournament in a community and choose the Women category, plus an age range, a cap and a waitlist if you want them. You approve each entry. Formats include a league, groups plus a knockout and a Mexicano. Flobit does not collect entry fees. In Saudi Arabia, a private tournament also needs the Saudi Padel Federation's licence first, applied for at least 20 days ahead.
How do I run a mixed Americano night?
Use the free Americano generator for a rotating schedule, and agree the points target, usually 16 to 32. The rotation does not force one man and one woman into each pair. If every pair must be mixed, use fixed pairs in a Flobit league or groups tournament with the Mixed category, and check each pair, because Mixed is a label.
Is Flobit free, and is it in Arabic?
Flobit is free to use and has no ads, with an optional Flobit Plus subscription for advanced stats and a Plus badge. The app is on iPhone, Apple Watch and the web at flobit.app. It is in English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani and Spanish, not Arabic. Android is coming soon.
